Neoluthy is a small workshop based in Bogotá, Colombia, that designs and builds 3D-printed violins. Orders are handled by hand, by the people who make the instruments. You can reach us at [email protected].
A playable violin whose body and neck are 3D printed in PLA, assembled and set up by hand, with standard violin hardware and D'Addario strings. It is not a wooden instrument and does not try to sound like one.
Every instrument is printed and finished individually, so small differences in surface texture, colour depth and finish are normal and are not defects. Photographs on this site show real instruments, but screens vary and the colour you receive may differ slightly.
Nothing is held in stock. Each violin is printed and assembled after you order.
Prices are shown per destination and include shipping. The price you see depends on where the violin is being sent, so the figure changes if you change the destination country.
Outside Colombia, the bow and protective case are included in the price and are not optional: an unprotected instrument cannot be trusted to survive transit temperatures. Within Colombia the violin is sold on its own, with the bow and case available as an addition.
Launch pricing is limited to the first 100 violins. When it ends, the regular price shown alongside it applies. We may change prices at any time, but never for an order already confirmed.
Our PDF catalogue shows the prices current on the day it was generated. The prices on this website are the ones that apply.
This site is not an automated checkout. When you complete the configurator you are sending us an order request, not paying for it. We reply by email with a summary and the payment details for your destination.
A sale exists once we have received your payment and confirmed it by email. Until then either side can walk away with nothing owed.
We may decline or cancel an order before payment, for example if we cannot ship to your address or a price was displayed incorrectly. If you have already paid and we cancel, you get a full refund.
Payment is by Bre-B within Colombia and by PayPal elsewhere. We match payments by the reference you send, so please use the reference we give you.
